I really enjoyed Khmelnitsky's book. I...Agreed. I really enjoyed Khmelnitsky's book. It was very challenging, especially since I went through it when I was still rated at around 1400. (I am now around 1800 and still improving). I really enjoyed this blog, as I am also doing the Yusupov Challenge. http://rooklift.blogspot.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10942392514945047020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3192113584757325016.post-59824944570770926532015-02-02T17:03:21.440-08:002015-02-02T17:03:21.440-08:00Khmelnitsky's Chess Exam and Training Guide di...Khmelnitsky's Chess Exam and Training Guide did win an award tooAoxomoxoA wonderinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16058687381216896080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3192113584757325016.post-62847371262628445862015-02-01T23:18:04.752-08:002015-02-01T23:18:04.752-08:00I agree with Tomasz, I enjoy your posts, and readi...I agree with Tomasz, I enjoy your posts, and reading of your evident progress and enjoyment of the game.

This post is also an excellent review of the first book. I've heard recommendations forth series from mainline sites, but this is a practical review by a user of the book : a much more honest opinion.Signalmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16729072457754759564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3192113584757325016.post-52652444822713989962015-02-01T20:54:40.449-08:002015-02-01T20:54:40.449-08:00Well done my friend! :)
I really enjoy reading yo...Well done my friend! :)

I really enjoy reading your blog and it is great you are working on Jusupov's series! I am really curious how you will cope with that. Be careful as the estimated rating for these books may be a bit underrated. And I strongly recommend to repeat the chapter(s) you have scored below 50% (not to mention below 20%). In the long term it will help you as you won't lose many opportunities to win (or draw) the games.

Anyway - ENJOY your study, play and read these books with pleasure. They are probably one of the best materials (paper books) designed to help players to achieve a status of a very strong amateur player.

BTW. The faster you fill the (chess) gaps, the better player you will become :).Tomaszhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09690570865003924020noreply@blogger.com
